Yggdrasil Gaming’s content and platform have been certified to launch in Spain, as the supplier continues to grow its footprint in regulated markets.
Yggdrasil has already reached an agreement to enter Spain via GVC’s bwin brand, with the launch targeted for summer 2018.
The process, led by testing lab Asensi Technologies, has certified Yggdrasil’s iSENSE 2.0+ platform and an initial batch of games, including Vikings go Berzerk and Jungle Books.
Other games to go live in Spain are Vikings go Wild, Spiña Colada, Golden Fish Tank, Valley of the Gods, Beauty & the Beast, Winterberries, Jokerizer and Casino Zeppelin, with more to follow.

As well as Yggdrasil’s video slots and iSENSE 2.0+ platform, Spanish operators will, for the first time, enjoy access to BOOST®, the supplier’s collection of in-game promotional tools.

Spain’s online gaming market saw impressive year-on-year revenue growth of 30% in 2017 reaching €558m for the 12 months. Q1 2018, online casino revenue improved 51 per cent year-on-year to €56.5 million, and online slots claimed over half of the total.
