About the role

The primary responsibility is to build and maintain a positive relationship between the IT and business areas. The BizOps Engineer interacts and coordinates between IT, business areas, and external vendors and suppliers besides helping in defining and supporting the business process related to IT. 

The BizOps Engineer is responsible for business system support and its roadmaps. That includes but is not limited to documentation of business and technical requirements, being a contact person to suppliers, implementation of new or updating existing tools, integration with other tools and processes, coordination of all other aspects of the tools life-cycle, and implementation and maintenance of change control procedures. 

 

Objectives: 

  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met 
  • Planning innovative, efficient, and productive information infrastructure to facilitate data transactions  
  • Assesses business process requirements; analyzes structure and flow of work and data that support needs; evaluates possible solutions and implements and/or recommends solutions that support the mission, values and goals of Yggdrasil. 
  • Implements system changes and administers access to systems and information utilizing approved information technology security policies, standards and guidelines. 
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met 
  • Planning innovative, efficient, and productive information infrastructure to facilitate data transactions 
  • Developing automated business systems 
  • Be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers 
  • Manage necessary for the applications implementations and upgrades of a platform  
  • Troubleshoot problems and improve processes with and within the applications 

Key Skills

  • Experience in Computer Systems integrations 
  • System design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices 
  • Proved knowledge of scripting language: Python, Groovy/Java 
  • Enterprise Service Bus architecture 
  • Experience in Project Coordination and Business Analysis 
  • Advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles 
  • Knowledge of systems: Jira, Confluence, Snowflake, Tableau Online, Salesforce 
  • Proved knowledge of database management systems (MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL/NoSQL) 
  • Information system troubleshooting methods 
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.  
  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, negotiation with suppliers and user support 
  • Business English – Professional working proficiency 

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform 
  • Knowledge of Anaplan 
  • Architecture or PM certification
