Head of Gaming Compliance

As Head of Gaming Compliance, you will have the overall responsibility for the company’s gaming compliance with all applicable regulations, ordinance and reporting requirements.

One of the key areas will be to maintain excellent relationships with applicable regulatory and advisory bodies in different jurisdictions and administer and manage of all aspects of required licensing, approvals or prior-permissions for all products, services and operations. This role and position could also be appointed as UKGC PML holder, MLRO or other official positions.

Key skills

  • You have a bachelor’s and/or masters degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of gaming regulatory compliance
  • Up to date knowledge of the issues involved in the regulation of gaming
  • At least 3 years in a managerial position
  • You have great leadership skills that builds on your ability to create effective relationships with your staff, stakeholders and partners
  • You are fluent in the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Proven communications skills, as this position will interact with various levels of management, employees, regulatory authorities, operators and other external parties
  • Excellent ability to identify potential problems and come up with great solutions
  • Gaming auditing experience

Objectives

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations
  • Have an extreme good overview of regulatory developments in order to suggest business opportunities
  • Provide recommendations and direction to CGMO and other key stakeholders on all areas of regulatory gaming compliance, based on the company´s strategy and business plan
  • Responsible for new regulatory projects from a gaming compliance perspective
  • Ensure smooth and timely licensing in all (current and upcoming) jurisdictions
  • Responsible and owner of all external and internal regulatory audits incl deliveries of detailed reports
  • Liaise between the Company and gaming regulatory authorities and respond to gaming regulatory authorities’ inquiries
  • Review, analyze, and recommend alternative solutions within the gaming compliance are to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures for gaming compliance and ensure Implementation of those
  • Responsible for defining and implementing internal controls for gaming compliance
  • Owner of regulatory returns and reports
  • Investigate and report on incidents of noncompliance as it relates to gaming statues, regulations, and internal controls
  • Interpret and communicate information on regulatory matters related to gaming compliance
  • Ensure up to date and known Gaming compliance calendar covering all applicable regulations and tasks
  • Key point of contact for all operational gaming regulatory and applicable queries
